        As "Antichlor" in bleaching of Paper pulp, as filter in Photography, for extraction of Silver from ores, as mordant in Dyeing & Printing Textiles, Reducers in Chrome Dyeing, Manufacturing Leather, Bleaching Bone, Straw, Ivory, also as reagent in Analytical Chemistry.
